Ready to Serve You
While I will be sworn into office on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, I am officially your state representative in the General Assembly as of Saturday, Dec. 1. It is an honor and privilege I do not take lightly, as well as a duty I promise to carry out to the best of my ability.

That goal is best accomplished by keeping in touch with you, and there will be a number of ways in which you and I will be able to communicate. While I am in the process of determining the location of my district office, you can rest assured the door to it will always be open and the staff I employ in it will be focused on constituent service. If they or I do not have the answers to your legislative questions, we will either work to find them or point you in the direction of getting them answered quickly and easily.

Incidentally, we will soon be announcing my district office location and local telephone number. For now, please direct your legislative questions to my Harrisburg office toll-free at 1-866-901-2482. I’ll always be just a phone call away.

As I do not believe in overloading your inbox, I will be distributing a brief, once-a-week email entitled Headline Harrisburg. It will contain news that impacts the 74th District, as well as updates on everything from the latest legislative headlines to my views on specific subjects or bills.

To receive Headline Harrisburg, please visit my website,, and enter your email address and zip code in the upper right hand corner. Your address will not be sold or used by anyone else. We need it simply for the purpose of getting vital information into your hands once a week.

For those of you interested in social media, I am working to establish a legislative Facebook page. While this is not everyone’s “cup of tea,” please know that Facebook is simply one extra means by which you and I can have an exchange of thoughts and ideas.

I believe in the need for leaders to step up and fix our country, fight to end wasteful spending, and lower taxes to create an economic climate that allows for job creation. Your opinions are vital to me in pursuing these goals. We are in this together, and I look forward to hearing from you, and working for and with you.
